Joy school

Rose started preschool today. She was quite excited until we got there. It wasn't until story time that she was okay. By the time I picked her up she was very happy. It is Joy school so we all take turns doing it at our home.  It will be a fun year. 6kids. 1little boy.

Our new toy

A good friend gave us their trampoline because they couldn't move it with them. It has already caused a lot of family bonding. The kids woke up at 6:30 Saturday morning to enjoy their new toy. I think they spent all but 3 hours on it yesterday (they had to take breaks to eat and do chores).

My Miracle Boy

6 weeks agos Josephs vision in his left eye was 20/300 (no that wasn't a type-o). At todays visit it was 20/50. God is good to Joseph. God has worked many miracles in his and our families life. 6 weeks ago the Dr was talking about doing surgery on Joseph. I have faith that Joseph will have his eye sight for longer so I started praying that God would provide a way for us to pay for the medical bills that would come our way with a surgery. I know other have been praying for Joseph as well. Today the Dr informed me we may not have to do surgery any more. Miracles do happen. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Art/Crafts day

While visiting Philly the kids get to have a Arts/Crafts day with grandpa each week. This week they enjoyed the are of clay

Jeremiah and his Grandpa Stephenson. We felt so blessed to spend a little bit of time with Grandpa while we  were in Utah. He is an amazing man and a great example.

Good-bye Old Friend

Today we said good bye to our trusty minivan. We loved this van and we were sad to see it go. We had to make room for our new 12 passenger van(you can see a glimpse of it in the picture)  that we are very happy to have. We do feel very blessed that we have sold it and it went to a good family. Heavenly Father have given us many blessings.

Book Worm

Every night we put Rose to bed. She soon makes her way outside her door with a pile of books. The rule is as long as she stays there she is fine. But once she starts moving around she has to go back to bed. She can stay there for hours if we let her.

Bragging time...

I would like a minute to brag about my William. I feel so blessed that Heavenly Father sent him to Jeremiah and me.
This week he has been taking is NWEA testing at school. As his test scores have been coming home we have been reminded what a gifted,  smart boy we have.
On Math he scored 250 we thought hey that's okay. We later found out that puts our 5th grader at a 10th grade level.
I can't remember what his Reading score was but the teacher wrote Advance Proficient on the paper. He was pretty proud of that.
Lastly on his Language.... last year he scored 204. He had a typical score(amout of growth that most kids achieve) of 210 and a stretch goal(the score the teacher encourage them to reach)  of 214. Well he blew our socks off with a 227.
I love my little smarty pants...

5 months old

Our sweet Gwen is growing too quick. Gwen rolls from stomach to back and every now and then from back to stomach. Her fisrt tooth just broke through with #2 on its way (life has not been fun).  Gwen has been enjoying oatmeal cereal and has had a taste of applesauce. She can sit up by herself for a short time but it doesn't last long. Gwen gets loved up by all the family but she lights up when she sees her mommy. We love you little Gwenny

Books, books, glorious BOOKS

My kids take after the great Muldowney family and LOVE to read. They are like their grandpa and take their books everywhere in case they have a chance to read. We had to start taking all their books out of their rooms at night because we found out Micheal had been staying up late enjoying his love for books.

I like to look for rainbows whenever there is rain... and ponder all the beauty of the earth washed clean again.

Williams first band concert

This isn't a great picture but William did great playing his trumpet. He was mad because I dint sign the paper(which I never saw) to let him do a solo. He sure loves his music

Free bowling

Because of the D.A.R.E. Program we were able to take the kids bowling for free. We just let the kids bowl and it took us 2hrs. For 1 gamethey loved it.

Wiliam turns 11

Can you believe my baby is 11. In one year he will be passing the sacrament.
William is such a fun loving boy. He loves that he was born on April Fools day. He truely believes it was his first great joke. He loves making up games with his brothers, cooing at his baby sister and palying games with Mom and Dad. William is a math whiz and we couldn't be more proud ov our big boy William.

I am working on a new special

Its a hard life....

Poor Rosie most days she wakes up from her naps pretty grumpy. The other day it was 2 hours of pure fit throwing. The problem is if she takes a nap in the afternoon and sleeps too long she won't go to be at night. So we often wake her up after about 2 hours.... Solution????? Today I am going to put her down for a nap around 11 and let her get her full nap. We will see how it works....
