The Death of some special socks

These socks my not look like anything special
but let me tell you ..... They are.
Jeremiah wore these socks
9 1/2 years ago for our wedding.
When were were dating my friends and I
would always sing ' Jeremiah was a bullfrog'
very original I know. Well I found these sock of frog princes and had to get them for Jeremiah. Jeremiah has always worn then on special occasions ever since.

So I was sad to see that they were done for. I knew they must have a hole or two but not this. NoT THiS. Jeremiah finally threw away these beloved socks. I am now on the search for a new pair. I know I can never really replace these ones but it would be nice to have something like them. If anyone sees any please let me know.

November

November at the Muldowney household was a fun, spiritual and thankful month.
I'll start with the one thing of November that I still think about almost daily.
November 1st we were blessed with the birth of our niece Lillian Kathleen Muldowney. Lillian was born with some birth defects and started a battle for her life right away. She lived 1 month and 1 week and then returned to our Heavenly Father. Jeremiah and I fasted almost weekly for this little one and her dear parents. We prayed for their family in everyone of our prayers. It brought spiritual growth to our family. I could often feel the strength of her spirit as I prayed for her. I had the blessing of growing closer to my own sister, Carrie, as I spoke to her often of the loss of her little boy almost 5 years ago. We often had talks with our children of the blessing of eternal families. We are so very thankful that Erin and Micah were sealed in the temple and have the sweet blessing of Lillian sealed to them for eternity. I am thankful that through the sealing power that some day I will get to meet my sweet little niece, Lillian and my nephew Ryan. Thank you Lillian, who has brought so much strength to the whole Muldowney family.
November was also the first month that Jeremiah was done with Clinicals. So how did he celebrate? He went and got a second job. Ha, poor guy. I will repeat the words of my sister, Carrie.. What a good man Jeremiah is. He will do anything it takes to take care of his family....
I love Jeremiah so much!
So here is some of the fun we had this month

We had the blessing of having Lizzie come up for Thanksgiving this year. She is always a joy to have around.

Rose got attacked by a bear.

Isabelle gave us some distressing news.
We had some fun in the snow. Not us much as we would have liked. But there it is.
Lizzie reading and warming herself by the fire place.
What better place.
And then came Thanksgiving
We held our very first Thanksgiving in our very first home.

Ann made a turkey out of rolls.
How fun and tasty!
Always fun with the cousins
I made my first Turkey
Here it is going into the oven

Here it is coming out of the oven.
Just Joking this is after the feast.
The turkey was a hit.
The Feasters.
We are so grateful to have Ryan and his family so close by.
They live 2 hours away and we feel blessed every time we get to see them.

Emmanuel checking out Rose

Jeremiah burned a hole into our hard wood floor.
It's a long story but lets just say we are thankful we still have a house.
Last but not least
Do you see this OLD Man
He is now 32 years old

Enjoying Eggs Benedict for breakfast Jeremiah enjoyed a Banana walnut cake for his birthday.
I am so thankful I married this amazing man.
He bring me and our children such joy and lots of laughter

October

October we started off with Rose being blessed.
Here is our growing family.
People keep asking me if I am done...
Well here is my official answer. I Don't Know.
There are days where I want to pull my hair out. But then there are days I am so grateful for what I have and the knowledge that my family is eternal.
My life is in my Heavenly Fathers hands. I will do His will.
Rose got a new crib and started sleeping better because of it.
Me and My Beautiful girls

Some Baseball time

Michael got a cavity filled and chewed a huge hole in his lip. His lip swelled up and I had to keep him home from school and a cotton roll in him mouth to keep him from making it worse.
It was pretty gross.

We grew a nice little garden this year.
The kids were big helpers especially when it came to pulling it all up.
Rose chilling out.
This year I did more canning. I am trying out different thing to see how my family does with it through out the winter.
Peaches
Peach Pie filling
This was super yummy.
Cherry pie filling
Jeremiah made homemade salsa
I made some peach, peach raspberry and pear butter.

Then comes Halloween
Carving of the pumpkins
Jeremiah, of course, made the coolest.
If you look close you can see the flames.
All our pumpkins.
We didn't have to buy any pumpkins this year we grew them all in our garden.
For some reason I forgot to take pictures of the costumes this year.
William, Joseph, and Michael were Red Ninjas
Jeremiah was the evil Black Ninja
Isabelle was a pretty flower
Rose was a pink leopard
and I was a fairy.

September

September was a fun and busy month. First and mostly, we had part of the Muldowney clan staying with us.
Mom decided she was coming for almost a month to help out with the new baby. And believe me she was a huge help. Between Jeremiah at the hospital 80 hours a week, me having a c-section and 3 boys to get off to school every day and do homework every night we kept mom very busy. Mom was a blessing to us at our time of need. Lucky for us too she brought the three youngest of the Muldowneys. They were big helps with the kids.

Climbing Independence RockAbby is very scared of heights but braved the climb. We were very proud of her.

This is just a cool picture of Michael.

We all spent a lot of time reading. Especially the girls. I am not even sure how many books they read while staying with us.
We were lucky to have the Ryan Muldowney clan to come visit us for a day.
We had an awesome game of capture the flag. Which I wish we would have got some pictures of. And we had a fun time at the park.

Grandma and Mommy pushing Isaac and Isabelle.
They could have stayed on all day.

These two are two peas in a pod......
or a swing

Ryan and Ann are always fun.
They also told us their exciting news of a baby on the way.

We played lots of games Inside

and Out

The kids loved having Uncle John read them comics

Abby was always willing to hold Rose.
Actually both girls were always asking to hold her. They were such good Aunts.
I am excited that I get Isabelle home one more year before she goes off the kindergarten. It is nice to have my two little girls home with me.
