A Wedding

Over Christmas break Jeremiah's brother Micah got married. We are so excited. His beautiful bride Erin is so wonderful and such a great addition to the family. We are so lucky to have Micah and Erin living close by so we can see them often.

ANY ONE CAN COOK

My boys love the movie Ratatouille. Well one day I came home from work and there was a mess in the kitchen. There were traces of hot chocolate mix, eggs, and who knows what else. But I couldn't figure out where the main part of the mess was so I figured Jeremiah had done what he could before getting busy with the kids again. Later that day I thought Michael informed me he wanted to make cupcakes. I just told him we would do it later. So two days pass and we had the oven on cooking dinner and Jeremiah and I could smell something burning but couldn't figure out what was burning. Jeremiah opened up the broiler to find these.

Michael was so excited when he saw them. He pointed out his cupcakes and couldn't wait to eat them. So we let all the boys take a bite. Needless to say they weren't to tasty. Jeremiah informed the boys that they could not cook. William came back with "No Daddy anyone can cook"

Ginger Bread Houses

We have a tradition 2 years in the making with our good friend the Shea's of making ginger bread houses. Last years attempt took a few tries of figuring out how to get the wall to stay up. This year thanks for my sister -in-law Tiffani our ginger bread turned out wonderful and her sugar mixture to make the wall stick together was amazing (see Winward link).The only problem was we needed to triple the recipe to get more then one house. But we had a fun time all decorating one house together.

The Old Man

Jeremiah is now 29. He has been telling me for years he feels old. Well now he is really close to being old. I told him he can say he is old when he is 30. Though he still looks really young.

Jeremiah is relighting the candles because the boys started blowing them out before we could even start singingI think Isabelle got scared from it change from light to dark as the candles were blown out

Jeremiah likes to try to guess all his gifts. This year I did pretty well and he only guessed the dress shirts I got him but those were really obvious

Cake Time

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

We had a first hair cut insident this last week. Joseph decided it was time for a hair cut

What is worse is he decided Isabelle needed a hair cut as well.

Luckly she is so blonde you can not tell very well. I can no longer get a pony tail ontop of her head with out it looking really lopsided. I guese it had to happen some day. But now all the scissors are in hidding.

So Tired

We have been trying to get rid of Joseph and Michaels naps durning the day so they can go to bed on time at night. Well at dinner it seemed a little to much for Michael . No matter what we did we couldn't get him to stay awake.

He finally woke back up when we took him away from the dinner table. He decided he wasn't finished eating so he came back.

Halloween

Halloween the year was great fun. The boys all decided to be super heros. Thanks to Aunt Carrie Isabelle was Tinkerbell. Jeremiah did an amazing job of painting his face to be Frankenstiens monster. He even went so far as to shave off parts of his hair to make it look more like a scar. I was very happy to be a butterfly
