Rosie turns two

I can't believe its been 2 years since this little one came into our life's. Rose is sweet and loving when she feels like it. Her favorite thing to say is "Ick" (look). She is often pointing out birds and other animals she sees with a "mommy ick ick". Her sibblings love to make her laugh.  She is still a mommys girl but since mommy took away the pacifier she is liking daddy a lot more. We sure love our Rosie and we are thankful for the joy she brings into our family.

Good-bye

My parents just sold the home I grew up in. They owned it for over 33 yrs. It is bitter sweet. I am thankful that my parents are living in a better home for them but it will be hard to say good-bye to the home with so many memories.

Watch out....There's a new sheriff in town....

New Do

Isabelle got her first professional haircut. We looked at some picture and she liked all the long thick curly hair dos. Her hair was past her shoulders but very wispy. So she got a bob to help even out her hair. When she saw it she frown and said it was so short.
Funny thing is when I was her age I went and got my first "real" hair cut and I remember going and thinking they would make it long with lots of wavy curls. My mom told them to give me a pixie cut. I was so excited until I realized what a pixie cut was. I believed I cried.
Luckily with in a couple hours Isabelle said she was getting use to it and I have seen her flip her hair around admiring herself. Funny girl. I told her aunt Abby had the same hair cut and she got excited.

Joys of the garden

We were gone for 5 days and this is what was awaiting us on our return.
Our garden also seemed to explode. Jeremiah has declared that he hates squash because it thinks it can take over the rest of the garden. I have to hold him back from cutting out a lot of it.
