Choose the Right

Today in primary the kids learned about choosing the Right. They were asked "how they choose the right". Michael raised his hand and said "today I choose the right because I didn't tell Trevor (his best little buddy) that my Mommy has a baby in her tummy"
They twins were also overheard, walking down the hall, saying "when the baby in my Mommy's tummy comes out"

Needless to say don't tell secrets to little kids.

Cousins

This last weekend we went to visit Jeremiah brother, Ryan and his family up in Sheradain. We always love going up a spending time with them. And the kids are always so excited to see their cousins. It is always so fun when we first get there to hear little Isaac yell, MISSY! Then he goes searching for all his cousins.
For Christmas Grandma and Grandpa Muldowney got all the grandkids pajama's. It was really fun the Isaac and the twins had matching ones. When Isaac saw the Michael and Joseph were wearing the same pajama that he had he insisted that he wear the same pajama's.
Here are the three cute cousins all happy that they match.

House Update

Well we didn't close on the house today. We should hopefully be closing Wednesday but it is still up in the air. I just can't believe we are so close to owning our own home.

Joseph's Glasses

About 2 months ago Joseph finally got glasses. His eyes are stable enough to have them so Yeah. If you look at the picture below you may notice the line in the middle of the glasses. Yep he has bifocals. Poor boy he is 6 years old and already has old man glasses and will for the rest of his life.
He had a hard time adjusting to them at first. I would often find him walking around holding them. He has lost them at least two times already. But now he is doing well with them. I have never met a pickier boy when picking out glasses. It took him forever. We finally convinced him of these ones because they are red and Spiderman wears red.
I will say he looks so handsome in them.

Inspection

We had the inspection today. Everything went pretty well. The water wasn't on so they were not able to check the pipes. We will be having a plumber come out and check the pipes and water heater. The furnace needs to be cleaned and checked for leaks. So as long as everything goes well with those the only thing that needs to be fixed is the door frame for the front door. Which will cost about $100. We are pretty happy with how it is turning out so far. Here are some pictures of my favorite parts of the house.

Breakfast Bar
Laundry Room Storage Room

Dinning Room and door to the Backyard
Living Room. But I really want you to see the front door. It has a really cool design on it. I am planning on painting it red down the road. Right now our house is a really ugly green so I will wait to paint the door red until the outside of the house can match it.

Dear Santa

You may think it is too soon to think about letters to Santa. But not Michael. This is the 3rd letter he has written.

The part I love the best it he didn't ask for any help. Everything is spelled correctly and the letter in in the right form. He is a smart little boy. To bad he won't be getting a cat.

BYU Young Ambassadors

While down in Utah this weekend I was able to attend a fireside, with my Aunt Bev Clawson, by the BYU Young Ambassadors. All I can say is AMAZING. It was a group of about 30+ students with amazing voices and even more amazing testimonies. One would get up and give a short talk and it would be followed by Hymns sung either as solo's, as the group or a combination. The spirit was so strong. The thing that amazed me the most is that the ones who gave talks didn't know until seconds before they were up giving it. I was in the front row and after a Hymn I could hear the conductor whisper something. I realized later it was him saying who was giving a talk right then. Crazy Huh? Well they did amazing.
This group is know for their high energy, song and dance performances. It was neat to see them in a spiritual setting. If you ever have the opportunity to see them perform believe me you won't be disappointed. I hope this wasn't a once in a life time opportunity for me. I would love to see them perform again.
Thank you so much Aunt Bev for inviting me to come with. It was amazing.

Some day we might own a house

So we got more news about the house. As of now the Bank has excepted our offer. The guy has agreed to pay the rest of his mortgage. Now it is going to the WCDA to get approved. So we are told we will find out in two weeks. We made an offer on the house over a month ago. The offer is still not completely accepted. It has been a little frustrating because all we can do is wait. We can't do anything to get stuff done yet. We are just waiting. So our original closing date was Jan 15 then it got pushed back to Jan 28. I don't know what it is now but I am sure it will be some time in February. 2 months after we made the offer.

Post By Michael

I decided to let Michael do a post. So here is what he wanted all of you to know.
This is a picture of my baby cousin Charles and Me. I like him. He is my favorite cousin. And I love him. I love him every day. One time Charles family came to my house. But the next day they left. When he comes over I will show him how to play games. We have to wash our hand if we have germs on them so we can touch him. It is a good thing to wash our hand so we can touch babies. That is all we need to know about babies.

These are my uncles, Uncle John and Uncle Abraham. I have never seen my Uncle Stinky Pants because I don't have one. They are my favorite uncles. I have fun when I am with them. I like John's rat. Sometimes it climbs on my back. We always have to wash our hand when we are done holding the rat and the turtle because they have germs. I like to run and play games with my uncles. When we they come to visit my house I will teach them how to play with my toys nicely.
My favorite color it blue. My Grandpa likes blue. Thats all.
